Vayakhel-Pekudei "And He Assembled" "Accounts”
TORAH: Exodus 35 - 40: | PROPHETS: Ezekiel 45:16-46:18 | GOSPEL: Luke 22:1-13
There is something significant happening today close to where Jesus carried out much of His ministry — and it may involve you.
Let’s look at this week’s Torah portion called Vayakhel–Pekudei, meaning “And He Assembled” and “Accounts” (Exodus 35 through the end of the book).
These final chapters of Exodus describe the completion of the Tabernacle — the dwelling place for the presence of God. Everything was built exactly according to the pattern that God had given to Moses.
Why was following His pattern so important?
Because once everything was prepared according to God’s instructions, the most significant thing happened:
“Then the cloud covered the tent of meeting, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle.”— Exodus 40:34
The Lord’s presence filled the Tabernacle — appearing as a cloud by day and fire by night — a visible testimony that God had come to dwell among His people.
A Key Step in Establishing God’s Dwelling Place
Before the Tabernacle could be built, something important had to happen.
God invited the people of Israel to participate.
“Take from among you a contribution to the LORD. Whoever is of a generous heart, let him bring the LORD’s contribution.”— Exodus 35:5
The offering included gold, silver, and all the materials needed to build the dwelling place of God.
But what stands out most is the response of the people.
“And they came, everyone whose heart stirred him and everyone whose spirit moved him.”— Exodus 35:21
The people gave so generously that eventually Moses had to restrain them from bringing more, because there was already more than enough for the work.
The Tabernacle was not built by obligation — it was built by hearts that were stirred.
How Does This Connect to the Galilee Today?
Today, something remarkable is unfolding near the very region where Jesus ministered.
The Vertical Galilee House of Prayer is being established — a physical place of 24/7 prayer and worship beside the Jordan River, just south of the Sea of Galilee.
This house of prayer is being raised up as a Tabernacle of David, calling intercessors from the nations to stand together as watchmen for Israel and to seek the presence of God.
It is a place where believers from many nations can come to pray, worship, and intercede for the restoration of Israel — both to their land and to their God.
But much work still remains.
Resources are needed to complete the House of Prayer and restore the Ambassador House, where intercessors will stay while serving in prayer.
An Invitation
Just as in the days of Moses, we are inviting those whose hearts are stirred to be part of establishing this place.
Some may come and give their time in prayer and service.
Others may participate through financial giving to help establish this altar of prayer in the Galilee.

A Time for Prayer
We are living in serious times.
There is physical war in the world, but even more so there is a spiritual battle taking place. Scripture reminds us that the greatest battles are often won on our knees in the presence of God.
While we ourselves are the dwelling place of the Lord, we are also participating in preparing places of prayer dedicated to His presence.
Places established according to His standards of holiness.
Places that prepare the way for the day when the Lord will return and dwell with His people in Jerusalem.
Hallelujah.
