Pastor Dean Bye
Founder: Return Ministries and AOP
As a result of a dynamic encounter with God in 1990, Dean is a passionate Christian Zionist called to awaken the Christian community to the Father’s heart for Israel - the land and people. For nearly thirty years he has been a catalyst in mobilizing others to be active in the re-gathering of the Jewish people back to Israel as written in the prophetic Scriptures. His message is a rallying call for the nations to fulfill their respective prophetic roles as prophesied centuries ago.
Dean is a bridge-builder between Christian and Jewish communities. He teaches, lives and demonstrates Yeshua’s unconditional love without imposing his beliefs on anyone, Jew or Gentile. He desires that people experience what God is doing in Israel and the nations today, as Scriptures come alive and relevant for the purpose of encouraging people to fulfill their Biblical destiny.
In addition to the International Training Base near Kitchener, Ontario, Canada, Return Ministries established the Aliyah Return Center (The ARC) in Tiberias, Israel in 2013. In 2015, they entered into an unprecedented partnership with the Jewish Agency for Israel to develop a former boarding school property called Bikat Kinarot (Valley of Violins) on a historic Jordan Valley kibbutz called Beit Zera (House of Seed). Here, on this beautiful 15-acre property, Christians from many nations come as interns to learn how to best serve new Israelis and become ambassadors for Israel in their own nations. In 2020, they will dedicate Prayer Valley by the Jordan River that runs through this property.
Dean and his team minister internationally with emphasis in this hour on African nations to come out of bondage into the blessing of furthering God’s destiny for Israel. Our 2019 Sing Together – One Voice tour of North America carried an Aliyah message to the Jews in exile through the voices of the Sawuti African Children’s Choir and the challenge to the church to “Bring My children home.” Now, in partnership with key prayer ministries in Africa and the Jewish Agency for Israel, Return Ministries is embarking on the African Christian Kibbutz and Moshav Movement with the full cooperation of the Government of Uganda.
Dean and his wife Patricia have five grown children and their mates and ten grandchildren. All the children are involved to various degrees with the ministry and daughter Deanna is married to Israeli Chaim Malespin; they direct the work of Return Ministries at the Aliyah Return Center - Jordan River, Israel.
