Heart Preparation
Before a Watch
 |
Go before the Lord and
lay all your cares and burdens at His feet. (Matt. 11:28-30)
|
 |
Seek to have a humble and
contrite heart. (Isa. 57:15) |
 |
Come prepared with clean
hands and a pure heart toward God and others.
|
(Ps. 24:3-4; Mark 11:25)
 |
Remember that God will
reward those who diligently seek Him!
|
(Heb. 11:6; Mat 18:20; 1John 5:14)

General Guidelines for Group Watches
 |
Aim to
start on time, with focused attention on watching and praying for
Israel, |
the land and the people, in unity.
 |
As the
Spirit of God leads, be free to participate with corporate worship
songs, |
exalting the One who has called us to watch and pray.
 |
Wait on
the Lord and be sensitive to what’s on His heart to pray in this time of
|
watching.
 |
Function
as part of the team; be in harmony and insure that one topic has been
|
prayed through before continuing to the next.
 |
Pray with
fervency and faith, declaring the Scriptures, as led by the Spirit.
|
 |
Maintain
the flow and keep the order, incorporating times of prayer and singing
|
in the spirit, as well as silence.
 |
As space
and equipment are available, encourage appropriate music, dance, flags
|
and art, etc. as inspired, to complement and enhance the prophetic flow.

Note :
Choose to
walk in love and to place the corporate experience above personal
freedom and preferences so that the purposes of the LORD
may be fulfilled.
(1 Corinthians 10: 24)
Exercise
the discipline of being teachable. The Lord is training us all to be
Watchmen in His house of prayer, for Israel and all nations. (Isaiah
56:6-7) |
